You can't expect not to be mocked; it's normal for us to make fun of terms we don't know. The reason is simple: a gacha is not a fighting game. Gacha players don't play fighting games; it's a different niche. Obviously, hearing such absurd terms from someone when gachas aren't complex games leads to ridicule. The fault doesn't lie with the gacha players but with the person who dares to use terminologies that don't belong in this type of game. Use those in fighting games. But I've played Tekken, and honestly, trying to implement these terms in a gacha is ... extremely unnecessary and ridiculous, especially in WuWa, which can have better combat, but it's not a game where canceling is necessary. It's a game of combos and quick attacks; the faster you attack and dodge, the easier the boss will be. If you let yourself get hit, even small creatures can deal a lot of damage. It doesn't feel that way because of the speed in killing, but you can't blame the community for making fun of it. The guy just came off as a lunatic.

The problem with Iyo is that he got the terminology wrong while coming across as elite. THE fighting game guru for gacha. I admire the love for the FGC and fighting games he has but you are right the audience does not care. Also, he was not the one who found a lot of the tech for wuwa. That goes to Gamebreakergod. I would say that the tech found in Wuwa and Zenless is more close to games like Devil may cry or similiar games. Character action games. Lets be real jump cancels are not kara cancels and jump cancels are in a multitude of other games. Just comes off weird from him. Unfortunate but hooefully he learns from this video as someone who literally competes at Evo and stuff. Watched your stuff for awhile man. Fighting games are great!

For kara cancel, it made no sense to use the term and it was even wrong. So people are clowning on it as saying it in random situations. anyway, great video!

I hate zzz gamepkay n tv but the reality is they are button mashing and there is nothing wrong with that. I do quite enjoy zzz when i played on mobile but the tv and the gatcha price that needed to get limited characters + weapon not worth it for me. But hey i see alot people enjoy zzz so i just shut up and did care about the game that didnt suits me. Just dont lie to your audience to get sponsorship thats all.

Im fairly sure none of the people talking about zzz actually play. He was able to do this because the mission he's on is easy af. Try doing this at later stages when the game is actually trying to be hard. Is it surprising that they made some end game content easy so bad people could feel some satisfaction? to be fair tho at critical node 7 we get enemies that are level 70 while our units are capped at level 60 so at some point skill will have to matter especially for f2p and light spenders and by skill I mean things like game knowledge wise like grouping, optimal rotations, optimal attack strings, knowing who to swap for defensive assists etc. No need for any fighting game tech crap or whatever the hell Iyo says
